What do I get as a Harvest Friend?
With your Harvest Friends membership, you will receive a basket of fresh produce every week for approximately 15 weeks during the summer.
Your basket (1/2 bushel basket) will be filled with a variety of fresh vegetables grown in the Crooked Pines Farm garden.
* The items and quantity placed in your basket will depend on the harvest of the week.
Your basket will be available for pick up every Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Harvest Friends program begins in mid-June and provides baskets through September.

Other Information
Each week's basket will vary in size and items included. Naturally, early in the season the basket will be smaller than during the peak of harvest. At the peak, your basket will be full and overflowing.
Some items will be frequently included and others will appear briefly throughout the season. Each year is different and some crops will do really well while others may fail. Temperatures (hot or cold), excessive rainfall, drought, hail, and destructive winds can all cause crop failure.
*In the event of crop failure, Crooked Pines Farm reserves the right to substitute product by purchasing supplemental produce from a source that meets the Crooked Pines Farm quality standards.
Substitutions will not be allowed in the Harvest Friends basket. Crooked Pines Farm will decide the make-up of each basket based on the quality and quantity of that week's harvest.
Membership does not constitute any ownership of the farm, land, or equipment.
Membership does not entitle one to management decisions.
Crooked Pines Farm does not require any work commitment from the Harvest Friends.

You may purchase a Harvest Friends Membership as a gift for a friend. You have the option to share the information with your friend or set it up as an anonymous gift.
You also have the choice to donate your membership to Second Harvest, a local organization that helps feed families in need.
